Though I've seen them decorating my Instagram feed for the last couple of years, I only tasted my first smoothie bowl just a couple of months ago -- and boy was it good!
Starting to tire of what had become my go-to breakfast (peanut butter banana smoothie) I decided to do a little experimentation of my own, and ended up with three refreshing and satisfying breakfast options:
Berries and Orange
Banana Apple
Ode-to-Carrot-Cake
What you'll love about these smoothie bowls:
More filling than a normal smoothie (because you can add toppings!)
Easy to make
Refreshing
Essentially just soup made of fruit -- ain't such a bad thing is it?!
